This course which is designed to train candidates to the highest standards. This enables candidates to insure themselves to work in the Mindfulness & Relaxation industry.

The objective of the course is to provide the participants with a sound introduction to the concepts of Mindfulness and Relaxation.
It is comprehensive content at this level, building the skills, knowledge and abilities of a participant that is required to be an effective Mindfulness and Relaxation Coach. The course is a starting point for anyone wishing to become a Mindfulness Practitioner or use learnt techniques for Personal development of self or others.
On completion of the Mindfulness and Relaxation Course, learners will equip themselves and/or their employer with a member of staff who is able to use various relaxation and mindfulness techniques, understand the benefits, practice, and demonstrate various types of meditation, helping others to implement into daily life. The course will help you to develop both personally & professionally & enable you to qualify as a Certified Mindfulness & Relaxation Coach. Equipped with the tools to make a massive difference to others & build a successful business.
Aims of the course - Raise self-awareness to what is Anxiety and understand the benefits of Mindfulness and Relaxation. Explore different ideas for relaxation and bring wellbeing and self-care into our daily lives. Understand and practice different types of relaxation exercises. Take away a toolkit of ways to bring relaxation into our lives to increase wellbeing and better manage anxiety and stress.
What will be covered on the course?
What is Anxiety? Ideas to manage anxiety and improve wellbeing. Practice different types of relaxation exercises including Breathing, Progressive, Autogenic and visualisations. What is Mindfulness? Formal and informal Mindfulness exercises and activities. Strategies to implement learning into daily life.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
Learned skills to help self and others to improve their general wellbeing. Have knowledge of Mindfulness and other Relaxation ideas and exercises and understand their benefits. Take away a toolkit of ways to bring relaxation into our lives to increase wellbeing and better manage anxiety and stress.

Aims - To introduce the learner to What is relaxation? What is Anxiety? What are the benefits and the effect of stress versus relaxation on the body.
