Recovery Coaching

Recovery Coaching

ACT offer tailor-made Recovery Coaching packages to suit your individual needs and budget. Including one to one and group coaching either online, by phone or face to face.

We recommend that you work with a coach for a minimum of 6 sessions. However longer programs of up to 1 year would ensure much better results. This will ensure you build a trusting relationship and have time to work through any Limiting Beliefs or other inner blocks that hold you back.

All coaching programs start with a complimentary 30-minute strategy session.

Tell us what you need, and we will design a program to suit your needs and budget.

WHAT IS RECOVERY COACHING?

A recovery coach works in a similar way to a life coach, they are there to offer encouragement and help the client build a better life. The aim with this type of help is far more than just getting the person sober; the real goal is for the client to reach his or her potential. Recovery coaching is available to those who are currently struggling with addiction problems or alternatively those already sober can use it to build a good life away from alcohol, drugs or any other addictions.

THE BENEFITS OF HAVING A RECOVERY COACH

It is obviously possible to break free of addiction without the help of a recovery coach, so it might be best to think of this service as an additional resource. The benefits of choosing this option though, include:

  • Staying Sober: They can help you stay on track and avoid reverting to old habits, whether that’s excessive use of alcohol, drugs, or your phone.

  • Dealing with Tough Times: A recovery coach will share strategies to handle stress, cravings, and tricky situations.

  • Spotting Triggers: They will help you identify what pushes your buttons and how to sidestep these triggers.

  • Unlocking What’s Behind the Addition: They will help you figure out and resolve other issues that might be related to your addiction, such as past traumas.

  • Having a trusted reliable person who will hold you accountable and is on your side

  • having access to a person who should be a valuable resource when it comes to options and solutions to problems

  • as you may be feeling overwhelmed by information if you try to assess your own recovery options, a coach can help you make sense of it all

  • providing you with advice that is precise to your exact needs

  • empowering you so that you can take charge of your own life

  • being able to help you develop new positive habits and better coping strategies

  • Taking Care of Yourself: A recovery life coach will encourage you to prioritize self-care and help improve your overall physical and mental health.

  • Improving Relationships: You will learn how to mend fences and build healthier connections with the people who matter the most to you

  • because early sobriety can be a lonely time, this professional can help you build a strong social support network.

  • Providing feedback on your behaviour having a source of unbiased information and advice

  • Helping you discover activities that will bring joy into your new life
